Four American Inventors

This narrative book is divided into 4 parts to provide an engaging introduction to the lives of four great American inventors – Robert Fulton, Eli Whitney, Samuel F.B. Morse, and Thomas A. Edison. The lives of these inventors are set forth in a story-like manner, with many interesting details, and a glimpse of the trials and successes that combined to mold each man’s character.

These stories are descriptive in every line, readable in every paragraph, and inspirational to the reader. They offer a stirring example of inventive thought and deed for the youth of today. Black and white images are included in the text.

Yesterday’s Classics has published this book especially at our request for Revival to Revolution. This book is scheduled for the student to read independently. I hope that your students enjoy reading about these great inventors as much as I did!
