A Sparrow Alone
A Sparrow Alone is set in first century Jerusalem, centered around the lives of two Jewish teens. When Roman soldiers maliciously murder the teens’ parents, the two siblings’ lives suffer a drastic change.
Seventeen-year-old Mala sews for the wives of Roman aristocrats and seeks comfort in the hope of a coming Messiah. Meanwhile, her older brother Abdon, consumed with anger, joins a renegade band committed to acts of treachery.
Then, suddenly, the transformation of one of their village’s residents rocks the community. Moreover, the one who enacted the transformation seems to be on the tip of everybody’s tongue: Jesus.
