In the Days of Drake is set in the 1580’s, during the time of Sir Francis Drake and the feud between Spain and England over who would rule the seas. It is the story of a boy who was kidnapped and sold into slavery by his younger cousin, in a quest to control the family inheritance and lands.
However, our young hero manages to escape prior to reaching his destination in Vera Cruz. After his daring escape, he has many thrilling adventures as an English lad in the hostile, Spanish countryside. Read to discover whether the boy will ever make his way back home.
