In McBroom’s Wonderful One-Acre Farm, Josh McBroom buys some farmland with high hopes of making it big. Unfortunately, Josh soon learns the less than ideal truth about those eighty acres of Iowa farmland. They are all stacked up on top of each other… at the bottom of a muddy little pond.
They bamboozled him; he is sure of it. However, McBroom soon knows he’s got the better of the bargain. When the pond dries up, it reveals a very special acre of soil. In this rich acre of soil, seeds spring up into full-grown plants in no time. In fact, even nickels grow into quarters!
