World History

English

High school credit in English is earned through a combination of literature, composition, and grammar. In the World History guide, the daily literature portion uses a timeless set of full-length novels/plays with our Charlotte Mason inspired literature plans. The composition portion uses Essentials in Writing: Grade 11 twice weekly. The grammar portion uses the last half of Building Securely: English 7 twice weekly (alternating with composition).

Together these resources add 1 full English credit to your student’s program. Either order a complete English package including literature, composition, and grammar; or customize by ordering a smaller package or individual items.

There are 6 package options, all listed below. You should choose one to add to cart. If you would like to see individual items, select “View Details”.

Note: You don’t need Building Securely: English 7 if you already purchased it to use with World Geography. Likewise, you don’t need the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables” if you already purchased them to use with the Extension Packages in Creation to Christ and Revival to Revolution.

Option 1

Complete English Package with Audios

This package provides the needed resources for literature, composition, and grammar. This package also includes the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables”.

Option 2

Complete English Package without Audios

This package provides the needed resources for literature, composition, and grammar. However, this package does not include the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables”.

Option 3

Literature and Composition Package with Audios

This package provides the needed resources for literature and composition, along with the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables”. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar.

Option 4

Literature and Composition Package without Audio

This package provides the needed resources for literature and composition. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar, or the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables”.

Option 5

Literature Package with Audios

This package provides the needed resources for literature, along with the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables”. However, this package does not include the needed resources for composition and grammar.

Option 6

Literature Package without Audios

This package provides the needed resources for literature. However, this package does not include the needed resources for composition and grammar, or the audios for “Ben Hur” and “Les Miserables”.
