World Geography

English

High school credit in English is earned through a combination of literature, composition, and grammar. The World Geography guide provides a solid introduction to literature by combining Fundamentals of Literature with either a Boy Set or a Girl Set of full-length novels and plays. This unique combination enables students to develop critical standards for evaluating short stories, excerpts, essays, novels, prose, poetry, and plays.

The composition portion uses Essentials in Writing: Grade 10, and the grammar portion uses the first half of Building Securely: English 7. Together these resources add 1 full English credit to your student’s program. Either order a complete English package including literature, composition, and grammar; or customize by ordering a smaller package or individual items.

Complete English Boy Package

This package provides the needed resources for grammar and composition, and includes the Boy Set of novels/plays for literature.

Option 2

Complete English Girl Package

This package provides the needed resources for grammar and composition, and includes the Girl Set of novels/plays for literature.

Option 3

Literature and Composition Boy Package

This package provides the needed resources for composition, and includes the Boy Set of novels/plays for literature. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar.

Option 4

Literature and Composition Girl Package

This package provides the needed resources for composition, and includes the Girl Set of novels/plays for literature. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar.

Option 5

Literature Boy Package

This package includes the Boy Set of novels/plays for literature. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar and composition.

Option 6

Literature Girl Package

This package includes the Girl Set of novels/plays for literature. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar and composition.
