Adding the Spanish Package below to the Economy Package adds ½ credit of Spanish II to your student’s program. This course builds skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to the Spanish language.
This Spanish program moves quickly and is vocabulary and grammar intensive, so it is best if students have completed either a very rigorous Spanish I program (including typical introductory Spanish II topics) or the first half of a typical Spanish II course prior to beginning this course. Students who have completed the Spanish as scheduled in U.S. History I will be well-prepared for this study.
Note: For transcript purposes, students may combine the ½ credit of Spanish II earned in the U.S. History I guide with the ½ credit of Spanish II earned in the U.S. History II guide to list 1-full year credit in Spanish II instead.
Note: Students who desire to study a different foreign language may substitute a different language course in place of this option to fulfill the foreign language requirement.
