Note: For students in states that require a full credit in Economics, the ½ credit in the “Finance” course combines with the ½ credit in the “Economics” course to earn one full credit in Economics.

Note: This exciting new Foundations in Personal Finance Course by Dave Ramsey is now available for purchase, however it will not be scheduled in the Heart of Dakota U.S. History II guide until Spring of 2026. So, if you choose to use this resource, you will need to plan to schedule it yourself. The finance course is broken into lessons in the Student Text that will help you with pacing, should you choose to use this resource. The course also has an online video component now, instead of the DVDs.
