We will be praying for you, my dear friends! I'm so thankful with you that the cancer was found early, and that you're both close enough to be able to be there with him and your mom as he recovers. I'm sure that really does mean so much to all of you. I know that my sister and I were so thankful we could be with our mom.

You both have been coming to my mind daily as I'm praying on my jogs, so you've been getting EXTRA prayer here. :D (Now I know why.) It will continue!

Love in Christ,
:D Kathleen

I am just now seeing this! I am so sorry your father is ill. My family is praying for your entire families. I am going to ask that my church pray for you as well and hope others will do the same. We will be praying for your dad and keeping you all close to our hearts! I am sorry I missed this but we will make up for it in prayer now!

Carrie and Julie,
I'm just now seeing this note and am praying now for your families. My mother had pancreatic cancer, but it wasn't caught as early as your dad's. Catching it this early is such a blessing! Will be praying for each of you and your Dad's complete healing and recovery.

Carrie and Julie,

I will keep your father in my prayers for his complete healing. What a blessing to know that he is a man of faith and the Lord has truly blessed him with having the cancer discovered early.
My prayers also go out to you and your families, husbands and children and to your extended family.
Thank you for all you do for us here on the board and I feel honored to be able to serve your family by lifting you up in prayer.
Blessings of healing, strength, grace, comfort and peace to your Dad and the family! :D

Prayers for you and your family! It is a great blessing to be there with your dad and mom during this difficult time.

You can always "catch up" with your day-to-day things but you can never get back lost time with your family.

Carrie and Julie,
Our family will be lifting all of your family up in prayer for restored health and healing, God to be glorified through this time, and the strength, peace and comfort of the Lord for you all. He is faithful and true to His promises and He is our shelter from the storms of life. I pray your dad and all of your family may rest in Him each day. What a blessing to have a faithful earthly dad and family. The Lord is good, and I personally feel so thankful and blessed to be receiving some of the results of obedience, faith and dedication to the Lord expressed in your family. I am glad to be able to minister to you all through prayer now and other times. I am thankful for our God who has given us prayer that we may encourage and help each other and keep our eyes fixed on the Him who is able to do all things and who tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace. He is a gracious and loving Father. I just attended a women's conference on this Psalm, and it touched my heart; and so I pray the words bless you also.
With love and heartfelt prayers, Jennifer

Psalm 61
King James Version (KJV)

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Colossians 3:17[/color]
