I'm back! I' ve missed you all!

Post by Carrie » Wed Aug 18, 2010 4:18 pm

Ladies,

I've had a self-imposed (or should I say hubby-imposed) board break while we were in the final stages of wrapping up RTR, and I've missed you all so much! :D My sweet sister has worked overtime with the board, making sure that all are taken care of and have their questions answered. I am so grateful for her and for each and every one of you who worked so hard to help each other, knowing we were super-busy! :D Thank you from the bottom of my heart. :D

I look forward to sharing and conversing with you once again! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK!!! :D

We are all so thankful for the hard work and dedication you put into each guide! We love them! This is our first year with HOD, and it has dramaticly changed our little school! Last year we went through a lot of difficulties and struggles, and we just cried out to the Lord to work in our situation. Wow, did He ever! He allowed everything to fall into place so we could return all the materials we purchased and He led us to HOD! I am so grateful, and wanted to tell you from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

We started school about two weeks ago, and I have seen amazing changes in my children (and myself  ). Using this curriculum has been such a great blessing! It's easy to use, understandable and truly points the hearts of my children to the Lord. We have had such amazing conversations. Just yesterday, I told my kiddos that they should get out their spelling boxes (Beyond), and my son (who last year HATED school) said "Oh, I love this part!" He's been heard saying this about almost all of the boxes in the plans! God is working through this curriculum, and I just wanted to share my joy with you! :D

We are all truly glad to have you back on the boards giving direction and encouragement! I pray that God blesses everyone at HOD and your new school year as well!

Thanks Carrie!

In Christ,

Lisa

So glad to see you again, Carrie! :D I hope you've had a little time to regroup after your hard work writing the new guide.

CTC is getting rave reviews here from Grant. He said that he's sure he gets to do school that's more fun than anyone else! :D He's loving the Biblical worldview in the history. He'd really like to work with genetics and breed and raise BIG black labs. Allison volunteered to play with all the puppies, while he keeps working to make them BIG. Not sure who's going to pay for dog food! :? But, that Land Animals book has been inspiring. And today while he was making his star history project, he was just sure that he gets to do the most "awesome" things that kids in public school never do.

Our family definitely appreciates and prays for you as you work!

Glad to have you back Carrie. Thank you for all your hard work. It just amazes me how much work you put into these guides. We start CTC next week and I asked Noah if he was excited about starting school and he said "yes, I can't wait so see what I get to do this year!".

Welcome back! I'm glad we are just beginning with LHFHG. :D There is so much more to look forward to! Thank you for using your talents for God's glory. I truly believe, just after 12 days of LHFHG, that this year we are going to see a difference in dd, both spiritually and cognitively. May God continue to bless you and your family. :D
