Hi,
I have never used Singapore Math but am considering using it for 1st grade. This will be my first year with HOD. I notice that there aren't any manipulatives, such as unifix cubes or clocks etc. Is Math just worksheets at this level? Thanks!

Re: Singapore Math
Carrie has household item manipulatives used in her hands-on activities. The K activities (and pacing) are in the LHFHG guide, the 1a and 1b activities (and pacing) are in Beyond, and the 2a and 2b activities are in Bigger. And the workbook (and textbook) will give you ideas as well. Vasically you can use pennies and dimes for 1s and 10s and almost anything for counters, including food!
