PHFHG- Unit 4 Day 1 Science ?

Post by smithdonnajo » Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:50 pm

This is where they make a classification chart with 5 columns. Just wondering how others did this.

Should this be made on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper to fit in the science notebook? or will that be big enough for all the drawings? maybe he should make it using two 8 1/2 x 11 pieces of paper and put both into the notebook, side by side. Or, I guess he could make it big and it could be put in the notebook as a fold-out.

Thanks!

We did ours on 8 1/2 x 11. But if your dc have problems with it being too small, I love the fold out idea!

We did ours on 8 1/2" x 11" too, and that was just right for my ds who gets overwhelmed with drawing if there is too much space. Plus, this naturally kept the time he did it less (I remember having a baby then and less was always better  ). Anyway, if you have a child that loves to draw, and you have the time for her to really get into it, a bigger paper would be fun! :D
