Thanks for this encouraging post. I'm looking forward to seeing how much dd learns this coming year, to also show some family members that she is indeed excelling by homeschooling with HOD. Since I am pulling her out of Christian school, I feel like we have to prove that she is better off at home than in school. Most of the cousins have been ps'd. If dd is struggling in certain areas, some will think she needs to be in school  I can't wait to show them otherwise :D

Love the title!
Our Nana also thinks that the kids have learned a lot during our time with HOD.

My mom was a teacher for 20+ years too, and she is wowed by HOD as well! :D She has enjoyed being a "sub" now and then for me when I've been gone at book fairs in years past; in fact, my dad has too. :D They both were strong ps supporters, but even stronger supporters of their daughters! So, they've come around to loving homeschooling almost as much as we do. I'm so glad your Nana loves what your dc are learning too 8smiths! That is quite a compliment, to you, to your dc, and to HOD. Thanks for sharing this! :D

In Christ,
Julie

Angie,

I have to admit I was concerned to read the thread, hoping that I somehow hadn't offended your mother. :D What a great story though, as it ended up doing my heart good. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

I figured it would be something like this, I was hoping that your kids did not say that they'd rather do HOD than visit Nana   What a blessing for your family and a great testimony for us all who love HOD! :D
