Guess what I overheard one of my boys say tonight?

Post by MamaMary » Thu May 13, 2010 10:25 pm

Seth: "Dad, did you know that Mr. Columbus was born in Genoa Italy"?

I just kept making dinner with a big smile on my face.

I am so glad to be back to HOD. We could not do it last year with everything going on and I missed the relationship building moments. I did learn a few things about myself. I do not do well doing more than one HOD program. So I am using "BIgger" with my 8 & 10 year old boys. My 14 year old son is doing A.C.E. and Time4Learning as he loves working independently and will begin DITHOR this year. Nothing makes my heart sing like hearing my just turned 8 year old belting out, "Holy, Holy, Holy" through his two missing teeth :D

We just sang "Holy, Holy, Holy" in church this morning, and my dc were belting it out too. What a blessing it is to hear our dc praising the Lord (teeth or no teeth) ! I'm glad the Lord gave you this happy moment to treasure, Mary. :)

In Christ,
