Bigger notebooks, etc.

Post by MomtoJGJE » Wed Apr 28, 2010 7:52 pm

We aren't quite there yet (still have about 10 weeks left in Beyond) but for me to get a list in order of things to be gathering between now and then we will need something for...

History notebooking
Science notebooking
Vocabulary
Bible verses
Dictation

is that right? is there anything else that we'll need a specific place for them to write on?

You'll need a notebook (or whiteboard) for English. Off the top of my head, I think that's it. Here's a thread (with pictures :D ) from Julie on getting ready for Bigger at her house. Hopefully that helps you out!

Marsha,

I have 2 1-inch binders (1 for science & 1 for history). They're always super-cheap at back-to-school time. You could use one that's a little bigger for all the subjects and put in dividers. I think they'll probably do one notebooking page for each of those categories weekly. I can't really remember...but it's something close to that. So, they'll make just over 100 pages...or something close to that. So you'd need at least 50 of those plastic sleeves...probably a few more, if you're using those. Does that help?

I use a 2" binder with dividers for each subject. A recipe box with index cards for vocabulary. I was going to get alphabet dividers for it but never did. And that's it! Oh, yeah,I already had a dry erase board.
