Hi ladies,

We got bad news..my levels for the cmv virus are four times higher than my husbands were, indicating that I recently had the virus and the baby has been exposed. We are faxing the results to the OB now then have an ultrasound to check on baby. I just feel numb. Will let you all know more when we know more..thank you for praying.

Ladies I have GREAT news!!!!!!! We had the results faxed to our ob/gyn and he says that my numbers show that I had the virus YEARS ago and have immunity to it! (Most likely from my cousin) He said there is absolutely nothing to worry about and he sees no reason for an ultrasound unless we just want one. He is seeing us on Monday to explain the results to us in more detail, but assured us that there is nothing to worry about. Apparently the other doctor explained our results to us ummm..incorrectly or something was lost in translation. Our ob/gyn speaks perfect English and is a wonderful dr. whom I trust completely. I want to stick a fork in the other dr's eye. Thank you all for riding this roller coaster with me for the past few days..thank you so much.
