Hi Mary!
Hope things are continuing to progress well with your ds! I was just looking at the photo books Julie put together and there was your beaming face and that of you precious sons! Glad you see you here again!

Glad you are back, Mary! We missed you and are glad you've got a new computer. :D Glad you are back too, Tansy! There should only be a set amount of time HODies are allowed to stay away - don't you think?

I was very blessed by reading your year comparisons from last year and this year in using curriculum. I have had some of the same experiences wanting to branch out and using other curriculum and doing it myself. Now I am resting in the fact that I really really love HOD and doing unit studies. It just makes more sense to me.
My children are loving it and most of all I love the fact that it all begins and ends with the Word of God! That's what counts most!
The only thing difficult for me is to pick the best literature that is more God centered, rather than just classic literature, but as the kids get older they will understand and once they have lived a fruitful Christian life, I don't mind introducing some of those.

moedertje,

I'm so glad you are resting in the peace of your curriculum decisions. There is no greater praise than to say that our curriculum begins and ends with the word of God. You blessed me today!

Blessings,
Carrie
