well, well, well! What a busy place this is!!

Post by 6timeboymom » Fri Jan 02, 2009 11:13 pm

Hello all!! I have rejoined the land of the internet! lol! My computer has some strange things going on, and my internet was sporadic at best. I really hated to be without the internet, but we've also had some other trials presented to us lately, and a new computer (or repair of the the old one) was out of the question. So...we asked our Father for His advice (as we should, right? :-)) and suddenly we have THREE NEW computers!! (well, technically two are used, but still!) one is even a LAPTOP!! I was so excited I could have danced!! (and I might have squealed a little...rofl!!)
Anyway,
Maybe a reintro?

I'm Darci, we have 6 boys, ages 14, 13, 10, 8, 5, and 2. We've used HOD for about...I think...8 years now? as long as we've homeschooled anyway. My 14 and 13 are using DITHOR and I patch them into the History periods of Bigger that we use with the 10 and the 8 year old. The 5 year old is doing Little Hearts, and the 2 year old does Little Hands to heaven.

I have always loved HOD, and the CM approach. I've wandered, but always come back to HOD!

Now I'm off to see what kind of new stuff is going on around here! and find out all aobut the new people, and update on the old people! *giggle* I guess that would technically be me, too...in the old category...

Darci,

It's good to "see" you. We've missed your "smiling face". :D What a blessing to have computer(s) that work again. Praise the Lord for His blessings. Whenever the Lord answers a prayer of mine like that I always wonder why I didn't take the problem to Him sooner!

Blessings,
Carrie
