math with "little hearts"

Hi. I'm brand new to HOD, and I'm so excited. I just found HOD last week (with the Lord's help, I believe), and had a real peace about using this curriculum, which is such a relief, because home-schooling has been a lot of frustration and worrying up until now, but I knew without a doubt that I was supposed to be teaching our children, so I'm so thankful to have found this wonderful answer to my prayers!
I do have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me with, though.
I already have Hooked on Math, and it's worked o.k. for us, though neither my son or I are loving it. We're not that far into it, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had any experience, good or bad, with HOM, that they wouldn't mind passing on. I would sure appreciate it! I've also read so many reviews on Singapore Math, and I'm kind of on the fence about that, too, so once again, I would appreciate any opinions!

Thanks so much,
Briana

Briana,

I'm going to move this topic to the main board as that is the place where all new posts begin. I'll leave a shadow of it in the "Archived Topics" folder so you can find it if you check back. You'll get responses to your question on the main board though.

We're glad to have you here and glad you've found HOD! :D

Blessings,
Carie

welcome!!! We have used some portion of HOD for several years and have always been so happy with it. This will be the first year that EVERYONE is using something from HOD and it's shaping up to be our most comfortable year yet. :-)
