little hands curriculum books

Post by mrspierce220 » Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:15 pm

Hi, just wondering what additional books I need for the Little Hands curriculum (2-5)?
I am ordering the main book and want to order all of the accompanying books so that they all arrive at the same time.

If you go to the LHTH page you can click the link right below the guide title for the Little Hearts packages. Here's the direct link:
https://www.heartofdakota.com/little-hands-packages.php

On that page the package options are written out twice; once at the top of the page and once at the bottom right. You pick a package based on your child's age. If you are looking for a toddler, pick the 2/3 or 3/4 package; if you are looking for an older toddler for whom you would consider this year a pre-K student, or for a child who would use this for K (with possibly adding some phonics, fine motor skills and math), then definitely go for the 4/5 package.

Each package has the guide, one of the Bible story books, one of the ABC based devotionals, and the music CD for Bible memory - everything you need to run the guide.

Don't forget to read to your child every day, too! Picture books, story books, whatever captures their interest! It's not part of the guide, since the guide spans such a huge age range, developmentally, but is still one of the most important things you can do for/with your child to increase their comprehension, love of learning, knowledge of the world around them, enjoyment of reading, and more!

Like I mentioned above, if you want to use LHTH for K, feel free to do so; however, you may want to also add some phonics, fine motor skills, and math - all of those options are ready for you on the page for the Little Hearts for His Glory (LHFHG) page, as well. Just pick the K option for each, and work through them at your child's pace - no more than a page per day in each subject.

Blessings!
