sociology is required in my state

Post by sinceLHFHG » Fri Apr 27, 2018 7:27 am

I was looking at our state requirements and was surprised to see that they now require .5 in Sociology under Social Studies in order to graduate from high school. Does HOD offer sociology?

What state do you live in? Is it a requirement for colleges or is it something homeschoolers have to do to meet state law?
Sociology often isn't very Christian. I would look and see what they are actually wanting in the course. It might be the case that something like Works Religions and Cultures would count, but I am not sure.

I just confused myself. I typed in graduation requirements for the high school in my district, and that is their requirement. It is not a state requirement.

Sorry to take up board space on this.
