R&S Grammar Placement/Pacing

Hello,

It has been quite some time since I have posted here, and a long time since we've used HOD!

I am planning to possibly use WG for my daughter's 9th grade year, this fall.
I have a question about R&S Grammar. My daughter is currently using R&S 5, and will finish up this year. I'm not sure if it makes better sense to simply move on to R&S 6 after she finishes, or skip up to R&S 7?
Obviously, the plans in WG schedule book 7, and it would be great to just follow along with those plans, but I'm afraid a jump up to book 7 may leave a lot of missing concepts needed to be successful. I'm also not sure about pacing if we end up going with book 6 along with the WG guide.
So, with that, I am looking for advice on how to proceed with R&S, and how we might pace out R&S depending on which level makes the best sense to go with next year. Thank you!

I would probably use 6 next year and just complete 1 lesson per day or take 2 days for longer lessons. The lessons are fairly quick so doing 1 lesson a day should be fine.

I wouldn't skip a level. I would decide on your goals and decide if you want to complete Level 6 in one or two years. If you own MtMM, the schedule for Level y in a year is there a well as the pacing for the second half (the first half schedule is in Rev2Rev). Follow one of those schedules in WG.

Hi Candice!

I wouldn't skip 6 either. 7 is a huge jump from 5 and 6 will be sorely needed if you tried to skip it. It has the brunt of a lot of upper level skills. Just do it daily.

Thanks very much, ladies! We'll plan on book 6!
