Question for LynnH

Post by sweetsimplelife » Sat Mar 03, 2018 4:51 pm

Hi, Lynn! I have a friend who is homeschooling her grandson with CP. I remember somewhere you mentioning using some apps to modify your son's written work. I have searched on here and have not been able to find it. Would you mind sharing those again, please? Thanks so much!

Blessings! :)

I have tried various ones for various things, but there are a few I have used the most. These are for the Ipad. I use Scanner Pro to take a picture of a box on the notebooking pages and I make sure I set the size of the scan to the same size as the box on the notebooking page. I then import it into dropbox and I take it from drop box into Adobe Acrobat DC on my computer. He can then type right onto it using the fill and sign feature. It sounds complicated but it really isn't. I just do the scans ahead of time and store them as pdf's on the computer. He then opens them when it comes time. If you have a workbook that is in pdf form then Adobe Acrobat DC fill and sign can also be used then. The other one I have used is PDF expert. I would scan using Scanner Pro and import it into PDF expert and he could type right on the ipad. He just likes typing on the computer better than typing on the ipad. We tried a few voice recognition apps but none did exactly what I wanted them to do. I have heard that there is a good voice recognition app on google docs, but we never tried it. I think those are the main ones he used.
