New to HOD

Post by favorofG » Wed Jul 26, 2017 9:31 am

Hi Everyone-I am thinking about using HOD curriculum for my 9 yr old daughter. I'm using BJU with her now because I also used it with my son years ago! BJU worked well for him but I'm thinking I need to do something different for her!! So here's my question: can you buy an entire 1 year unit with all books and everything included? And how much would it cost? I've been on their website and it's not very intuitive!
Thanks

The first step is to decide what level she places in. I would look at Bigger, Preparing, and CTC on the placement chat. You may also want to look at the introduction and first week of each, which are PDFs you can download by clicking on the corresponding give and scrolling down.

Once you have decided what guide you will be using, you can purchase everything you need. It isn't one package, but it isn't too hard to figure out what to buy. Basically it is selecting each box on the packages page. Since the guides can be customized, especially in language arts and math, there are options in some boxes.

If you call them, they will walk you personally through the choices you need to make as well. They are very friendly and helpful!
