Is there quite a bit of church history in Rev to Rev?

There is some in Rev to Rev, mostly in the one book "Hearts and Hands" I think and then a little in some of the other books. The main church history year in the non-high school guides was in RTR though.

Agreeing with what Lynn said, and adding that you'll also cover church history in the high school World History guide. ;)

I was hoping there wasn't. My daughter did RTR and then she went to a christian school this year and they are doing-----church history! I have to say, it was supposed to be a "Charlotte Mason" school--well.....talk about boring. It's nothing like HOD. And, for many reasons, her last day was Friday. We can't make it to the end of the year. It was such a waste of time. :(

Gwenny,

The main emphasis in Rev2Rev is early American history within the context of world history. We wind church history within the context of that time period using biographical vignettes to place it alongside other events occurring at the time. Doing Rev2Rev would not be a repeat of a church history course. The guide is steeped in American and world history. It is a very rich guide! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
