Eploration Ed. science w/struggling readers

Post by Gwenny » Fri Apr 08, 2016 5:32 am

I recently contacted the Exporation Education company that does the physical science Carrie chose for Rev to Rev. I asked if the computer read what was on the screen to the children. I noticed that the Junior edition did but it seemed the other did not. They said that they are working on that right now, that many lessons are done, but it should all be ready by August if we purchased the online edition.

Since finding out our son has dyslexia, this is huge! He will love not needing to rely on my reading everything to him---and so will I.

Do you know if this will include the advanced version or only the standard?

That is great! That is something my daughter might like to use also. We will not be starting Rev to Rev until Nov or so.

I would also love to use this. My son struggles so he won't need this for a while. But with my oldest....sometimes it just nice to have something read to you and you follow along :-) I can't wait to hear more about this.

This is the reply I received to my question...

Right now the Standard and Advanced versions do not have the capability of reading out loud. However, we are developing our lessons (we already have several done) to allow for this and it looks like we will be ready in the fall. It will be accessed online. So if you purchase the curriculum before the fall, you will be able to access those lessons online (once they are available).
