Started reading US1 history resources-wow!

Post by LynnH » Sun Apr 03, 2016 6:58 am

I have now read through the books that are in the history boxes of the first 3 weeks of the US1 history guide and all I can say is wow! The way these resources are knit together is wonderful. I have already learned so much. I'm sure my dh is getting tired of me saying-"listen to this" or "did you know?". I find myself saying "I'll just read one more days worth" , and squeezing it in anytime I have a few minutes. Already I have learned so much about the Mayflower compact and the Puritans and Separatists. I know my son will find all of it very interesting and it will give him some great counter arguments when he hears people say "this nation wasn't founded on biblical principles".

Carrie once again I am just amazed at what all you have managed to pull together to make this such a complete study of history.
