How much time off during guides?

Post by LeAnna » Sun Jan 31, 2016 6:15 pm

I am just curious how much time you take off while working through guides? We are going to be running three guides at once, and I am one to finish all by the end of the year, but like to take time about a week off at Thanksgiving and 3 weeks off at Christmas, and a few days in between as needed. We will be doing CTC, Revival to Revolution, and MTMM. Will the guides give me room to do this? I can't remember how many lessons are in each, and it's been so long since I've done those younger guides. :D

Used HOD in the earliest years with all three of them!

We usually start around 3rd week of August and take a week off at Thanksgiving, 2 weeks at Christmas and a week off for Spring Break and finish by the 3rd week of May usually. There are 35 weeks in the guides, at least the ones Preparing and up. I didn't do anything below Preparing so I'm not sure about those.

Also don't forget that there are 35 units, but those units are only 4 days each. So you could borrow some extra time off during the year by doing school 5 days per week instead of just four.

Another option is to school year round. That way you could take off whenever you wanted to without worry. :)
