OT-announcement

Post by inHistiming » Mon Jul 28, 2008 5:59 am

Hello, ladies! I just had to come here to my online 'family' and announce that we are expecting our 4th baby. :D I cannot get in to see the doctor until August 21, but that's just a formality at this point. I am about 6 weeks. I know that's early, but I just couldn't contain myself any longer! We are excited about this new development, and we're trusting God to take care of all the details, as it will be like starting over for us. (we've no longer got ANY baby things in the house) I just had to share our news with all of you.

And now, how do you run two programs with 3 children while taking care of an infant? :?  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Wendy

No, it's not a secret anymore. We just haven't gotten around to telling anyone. We actually still have to tell hubby's brother and wife, and his aunt and uncle. My family has known for over a week, and we just told dh parents yesterday. The kids know...we wanted to wait until I saw the doctor to tell them, but they saw me buying some baby things at a yard sale this weekend, so we kind of had to 'spill the beans'. They are so excited! My daughter, of course, is praying for a girl. :)

Oh Wendy...., Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! HE is the opener and the closer of wombs because He knows the perfect plan for our lives. I rejoice with you my friend :D You ask how you do it..., use different programs with a new infant? You surrender your schedule, your life, your plans, your desires to the cross and HE does it!

His Power is made perfect in our weakness[/b]......., Embrace your weakness and cling to HIS strength!

More of HIM..., less of me. (John 3:30)

Woo Hoo!! I'm so happy for you!!! :-D :-D

schooling with an infant is pretty easy, imo-because my infants were usually attached to me (either literally because they were nursing or because I was carrying them in my sling!) so they just did what I did. Plus it kept them "safe" from big brothers to be in my arms... They also napped longer, making it easier to do something constructive during that time.
Plus in the first few months they are still a novelty so the bigger ones will jump at the chance to help with the baby. By about six months that seems to wear off... at least in my house it did!

I'm so happy for you!!! I would do cartwheels but I can't, so I'll just keep grinning away!!
