need help replacing Men of Iron

Post by jenn in nc » Wed Feb 11, 2015 5:27 pm

I need to replace Men of Iron in the World Geography literature course because my son has already read it. It is scheduled after the BJU unit on theme. Any ideas what might be a good fit? (I'd rather not use Papa's Wife for him...)

Thanks in advance! :)

Here's a link to a list of books, however, this list is from Scholastic...

Maybe a different Howard Pyle? I haven't read any of the others, but I know he wrote several. Or if he didn't read the extensions in each guide maybe one of those?

Amy, I've never seen that Book Wizard search tool before, I'll give that a try!

Lynn, good idea... he has already read Pyle's version of Robin Hood, but I'll check on other titles by him. I like the idea of using one of the extension books from another guide, too. He read all the extension books from MtMM last year but he hasn't done any other HOD guides so that might be perfect. I'll go poke around the main HOD website and see what I can find. :)

Thanks!
