For those doing the World Geography guide

Post by LynnH » Thu Oct 02, 2014 2:31 pm

Just a heads up for anyone doing this guide. Later in the year the dc read about Sir John Franklin and his attempts to find the Northwest Passage. The news reported today that they have found his ship, the Erebus. up in the water in Canada. Ice has melted so they were able to find it. There are some interesting articles online about the discovery. I printed one of the articles so my ds can read it when he gets there in the guide and thought others might want to do the same.

What a neat connection! I am showing this to Wyatt. Even though he did WG last year, I know he'll still be very interested in this!!! :D
