Problem with WH timeline CD

Post by Motherjoy » Mon Sep 15, 2014 6:53 am

I'm having a problem with the first page of the timeline CD. Three times I've tried to print it, and it prints the first 1/4 of the page, and then starts the rest on a new page. At first, I thought it was a problem with my printer feed, but its not happening with the other pages I've printed. I've only printed a few pages so far, so it may be a problem in some of the other pages, but I'm not sure.

Motherjoy,

We haven't heard about any issues with the World History Timeline CD thus far except for your post here. The figures printed fine for us off of the CD we received, and I checked with my sister and hers printed fine for her son off of the CD he received as well. I am just wondering whether anyone else has had any issues with printing the figures? If this is a regular pattern, then we'll need to contact the CD manufacturer and get in contact with Amy Pak to see what can be done. I do know that Amy is very careful with her product and so conscientious about testing it thoroughly before it goes to press.

As far as your problem goes, just give us a call or drop us an email and we'll be glad to help you resolve it! :D Calls get answered faster than emails at this point. We pray you are having a good start to the rest of the World History guide.

Blessings,
Carrie

Hi, Carrie, we had no problem with printing the figures. I've already printed everything for my son and the CD is tucked away until next year :D

I have all of my pages printed with no problems. I went to the start folder and there are links for all 17 pages.

Wyatt printed all of his himself, and they printed fine, so it must be a fluke! Don't you love computers/printers sometimes?!? Just give HOD a call. They'll be glad to help! :D

I pretty much have a hate/hate relationship with my printer, so I figured it was all on my end! :)

Mother joy,
When I have had trouble with my computer and printing CD's I have gone into my local Office Max and had them print my documents. Sometimes the extra cost is worth my ease and sanity. The quality is better than my printer.

have you tried just opening the PDF files and printing from there instead of the "link" My mac prints these just fine and so does my windows 7 but the windows 7 machine doesn't like to launch the htm file. But I can still just print the PDF's no problem :-)
