consumables for CtC

Post by Gwenny » Sun Mar 02, 2014 3:43 pm

I need to buy another Creation to Christ guide. I have the whole program, but I will have two girls in the same program in completely different places. So, I'll buy another guide for the second daughter and the student pages, but I'm wondering what else I need? I looked through and didn't see anything else, but didn't want to forget something.

All I ordered for consumables were the student pages.
"Big Mack"--Finishing up high school :)
"Cherry Berry Chiller"--geography
"Small fry"--Rev2Rev
"Happy Meal"--fun-school

"Jashub's Journal" and "Write with the Best" are consumable as well, unless you have your dc write on notebook paper instead. Here is a look inside WWTB...

Thanks! I forgot about those. I'll have to go look at them and see if my daughter wrote in them. I can't remember what I had her do. :)

Glad to help - I have to look back to figure out consumables too! Too much time between guides for this 40 something year old to rely on her memory!

Would it be possible to either make a pinned post here on the board or to create a symbol for those items on the packages page? I think lots of families would benefit from that - those with twins or two in a guide as well as those doing a guide again with younger children.

We are doing "Jashub's Journal" orally. Just a thought if you want to save a couple of dollars and a few minutes :-).

I'm looking at the catalog, and I don't see Jashub's Journal listed anywhere in CTC………..?

(I'm still finding things out and exploring before actually taking the plunge and trying HOD for the first time!)

Thank you!

Jashub's Journal is part of the Basic Package - Option 1: History Interest Set. I had two kiddos in CTC this year and we did it orally too, it worked fine. :)

Thanks for clarifying that! You can have dc write in a notebook for Jashub's Journal otherwise. This would probably work just fine for WWTB I too!

We didn't get the history set, so don't have Jashub's Journal. We do WWTB on paper. The only consumables we have are student notebook pages and math.
