Bigger Unit 21, Day 3 Johnnycakes

Post by jer2911mom » Tue Feb 25, 2014 7:05 pm

Can anyone tell me what "1 cup milk + 2 Tablespoons, 4 Tablespoons cooking oil" means in this recipe? Are we supposed to add 2 tablespoons of milk in addition to the 1 cup, or is that a misprint on the tablespoons of oil?

Thanks!
Kathy

It's not a misprint, as I recall we made that recipe and it turned out great, and I interpreted it as 1 cup of milk + 2 Tablespoons of milk

Thanks, we ended up making them with 1 cup milk and 2 tbsp oil and they turned out fine. So it's supposed to be 1 cup + 2 tbsp milk and 4 tbsp oil?

Thanks,
Kathy

I make these all the times for the family when I don't get a chance to actually make corn bread. We love them. The recipe doesn't have to be prefect for it to turn out delicious.
