We used it last year, and it is a lot of fun. Very sweet stories, fun little activities. We used it for 2nd grade. My daughter was sometimes so caught up in the books - especially the Stories of the Pilgrims and Boys/Girls of Colonial Days that she would BEG me to keep reading. The science led to many trips to the library because she would want to know more, but that is the point I think. :-) The little craft activities are simple and fun to do. I wish I had done Beyond with my older kids. They were being tortured with textbooks at that age.
I've done all the guides now with at least one child and still feeling the HOD LOVE. LOL!

We enjoyed it greatly last year, really all of the guides I have done have wonderful books, fun activities, are easy to implement, and have helped me enjoy homeschooling my children instead of worrying or spending a lot of time planning and wondering if I am doing enough. These younger guides take less time than I would have thought and I feel like they are very thorough, covering all of your bases and helping the child advance in all the important skills, teaching Bible and character qualities, and yes, very fun. Enjoy it!

Hello,
Just wanted to direct you to some other places wher you might get a better feel of the activities. If you click at the top left hand corder of this page on "board index" you will see several areas where people have shared pictures, stories and testimonies of how they have enjoyed all of the different guides. The ones you might want to check out specifically are: Beyond, Projects, and the weekly check-ins. ;-)

Enjoy!

We have loved it both times we've done it too and are one the verge of beginning it with our fourth little guy in a few days. :D Here's a great place to see what Beyond (and all of the guides look like in various homes). :D viewforum.php?f=14

Blessings,
Carrie
