Perfect timing fieldtrip for Bigger...

Post by moedertje » Wed Apr 10, 2013 9:45 pm

We had the Nina and the Pinta ships docked at a Marina nearby and went on a field trip today! My ds was very excited to be able to answer, where Columbus was born and he quickly said: "Genoa, Italy"and he remembered that he finally got money from Queen Isabella :D :D :D
I was excited that this second time around I was able to answer almost all the questions myself, lol
The kids had a fantastic time and it was really neat to see the replica's of those ships.

I'm so excited for your son! We just started Bigger today and began reading about Columbus. We returned from our trip to Florida on Monday and that would have been so cool to see the replica ships. :)
