Ok, I love that you did it first, and then they did it. Is that written in the guide, or something you decided to do on your own? I just ordered the water color supplies and was frustrated that I couldn't find any flat ones and had to order a partitioned one. Now I'm glad I did lol. You've just made my day :)

Actually the guide wants your kids to do these on their own but I just couldn't resist and started painting with them :D I do mine first because one kid is snapping photos LOL! Also we only have a few "good" brushes and If they wait they get to use mine.

I did see my kids struggle with understanding the directions (that are very clear to me), but then I love to paint... I also saw lots of moms each fall asking for help on the boards. So since I needed a blog topic that day I blogged our paintings. It was just fun and it's been great on keeping us on track with school! I can't tell you how knowing people are actually looking forward to this weeks painting is helping keep our school on track for a May finish! And I need to finish in May as we are traveling for support raising the week after we are slated to finish. I can and have support raised and home schooled its just not an ideal situation. "Hi pastor can we use the sanctuary to do our read-aloud story book?" no not at all Ideal.
