CTC Unit 11 watercolor mishaps and marvels..

Post by Tansy » Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:17 am

As far as I can tell from the instructions on unit 11 day 2 and 3 we are making 2 different fractured sky paintings.
If I'm reading this right we do not re use day ones painting. Are my assumptions correct before I blog about it to the world?

I do have a horrible head cold so I know I'm not clicking on all cylinders, nor playing with a full deck. :-)

Ok here is Unit 11... full of mistakes and errors  Learn from our mistakes LOL!

Here is a bump for you. I am not on unit 11 yet but I will be in a couple of weeks.

I love your pictures, they have helped me a ton in our painting! Keep them coming!

So here is your bump

ok I re-read them today I'm not as sick... LOL I read it as 2 paintings this week. Pics are drying blog post this evening...

These definitely could use the 140 pound paper as they were easily over worked, I only have 120 pound paper.

These tips are great, Tansy! I am starting CTC with Riley now that we just finished PHFHG, and I am so glad I am behind you - I'll get to pull up your painting posts here for inspiration and help! I like art, but I have never understood nor done well with painting of any sort. I laughed outright at the masking tape tip - too funny - but I bet it works great! I also thought your tips and step by step pics were awesome! Thanks for doing this!!! :D

After this blog conference I'm really pumped to do them all. Pity I'm stuck in PA due to Hurricane Sandy..
