My username is now innaccurate...

Post by blessedmomof4 » Sun Sep 16, 2012 10:54 pm

because our baby decided to arrive early :) I am now a blessed mom of 5. Dana Sharon was born on September 14 at 1:15 AM, at 32 weeks, weighing 5 lbs 14 oz and measuring 19 inches long. I was able to deliver her by VBAC and she is doing quite well. She was born crying (a very good sign), and with a head full of hair :) Prayers appreciated-I am home from the hospital today, and am pumping milk for her, and will be visiting her daily for skin-to-skin. Daddy is soooo happy, and was the best birth coach ever

Oh what wonderful news! It sounds like your precious Dana was a good weight, but will be praying that she strengthens and is able to be home with her family as soon as possible. Congratulations to you all.

Congrats, Lourdes! I saw her pic on FB and she's so beautiful! I didn't realize she had come so early though. She's exactly the same size my daughter was...only she came at just over 40weeks! Dana is a wonderful size!! Many congrats and prayers for you and your growing family!

Congratulations, Lourdes!!!! :D :D :D

What a blessing! We'll be shifting our prayers from a healthy safe pregnancy to a healthy weight gain and growth for your little sweetie! My niece was born last spring at 26 weeks weighing in a 2 lb. It's amazing what God can do with two pounds! She's a big happy healthy baby, now!

Blessings as you get to know your newest treasure! :D

Congratulations on your precious addition to the family! :D What a lovely name! :D Wyatt was born at 32 weeks, at 4 lbs. 5 oz. Now he matches me in height (5' 7"), and has a bigger shoe size than my dh (size 10 men's). Big things often come from small beginnings, so keep the faith - little daughter is going to be just fine. NICU can be stressful and somewhat saddening, may the Lord be with you and dd during this time, and be sure to keep us posted on how you would like us to pray. God bless, and congrats again!!! :D :D :D
