Bigger: teachers manual for Preparing to Build?

Post by jacynamommy » Sun Aug 19, 2012 4:30 pm

I am going to soon order our Bigger material, and I am wondering from those of you who have done it already, do I need to order the optional teacher's manual that goes with Preparing to Build: English 2? Thank you!

I didn't feel the need for the teacher's manual until R&S3. I actually didn't have it until R&S4, but there were several times throughout the year with R&S3 that I was wondering if I had the right answer. Also I found that there are some review questions at the beginning of each lesson in the teacher's manual that were really nice to include. I still don't think you need it at level 2 but I would recommend it for the following year at level 3. :D

I like to use it simply because I'm we do it aloud together. I don't think it's necessary for answer at this point as far as being able to teach the information, but it is nice for us each to have our own books to read from.

I love having it because we each have a book while doing the lesson. He has "his" book. That being said, I never look at the answers. I just like us each having our own book.
