New Here

Post by Carly » Sat May 24, 2008 8:26 am

Hi! I'm just now joining, but have read posts here for a while. We're going to use Preparing next year. This will be our first time to do world history and I'm grateful for Carrie's plans to carry this out!

Carly :)

Linda...if you click with your mouse on the smiley face you want, it puts it right into your typing. :D :D (It won't be cute and yellow until you hit the submit button though. )

We have a boy and girl that are a grade apart. They love to read and play very welll together. The kids have always been homeschooling using a variety of methods and books. We do relaxed history and science and
traditional 3Rs. It seems to work for us so far. Will we HS all the way through? We'll homeschool as long as it's the Lord's will for us. :-)

Welcome!

I'm also trying to decide on using Preparing. We have touched briefly on some World History topics, but haven't done a complete year of it. We've done lots of American history until this point.

In looking over my new catalog, I just love the selections for the Preparing year. I'm pretty sure I have 60% of them on our bookcases already! LOL
