Oh, Kathleen, so sorry to hear about this, but know that through very hard trials like this, God is growing us in ways we cannot imagine possible. Our lives were touched by cancer through my mom's battle with breast cancer. I know it is a scary thing, but God is SO much bigger than it! His love and comfort and strength hold us up and carry us through the most fiery of trials. Keep your focus on Him!

I'll be praying for your family and husband, and you as well!

(((Kathleen)))

I've been away from the board most of the summer and just felt like I needed to come check in and saw this. My heart is breaking for you and your family and the trial that you are now enduring. You and your husbands faith is such a wonderful testimony! It so true that nothing takes God by surprise. He knew this was coming and is totally prepared to see you through it. I have been and will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Hugs!

I'm so sorry to hear about what you are going through Kathleen! May God guide the surgeon's hand to remove all of the tumor and may He heal your husband. I am praying for you, your husband, and your family. Know that you are loved by many.

Kathleen,
I haven't been on here in quite a while and as I was reading through the threads tonight I came upon yours. I am so very sorry to hear this news. Please know that I will pray for you both as well as for the doctors and everyone else involved. May the Lord's peace be your comfort and your guide.

Also, please look up The Gerson Therapy. I believe there is a Netflix documentary about it as well. The Lord made our bodies to heal and I will pray for that for your husband.

Love to you from Buffalo, NY.

Kathleen,

My family will be lifting yours up in prayer. God loves us so very much, that He takes the bad and uses it for good. My husband has been recovering from a closed head injury that he got when he was bucked off a mule he was training for my father-in-law. He got a hoof to the forehead and the right side of the head as well as getting trampled once he was on the ground. There is no earthly reason why he had no internal organ damage, and did not have a more severe head trauma and no broken bones. We know that God had him the whole time. . .just like God has your husband and your family right in the palm of His hand. Eveyday that I have to re-tell my dh what happened to him might frustrate some people, but for me it is another day that I get to talk to and hold him. I am also rejoicing in the fact that he can still recall almost any verse that he has ever memorized (which is A LOT!) and that God has spoken to him so many times during this time of healing. Please never lose sight of the fact that God has a plan for you and it is for good and NOT for evil! We will be praying for you as will so many others, be comforted by your brothers and sisters in Christ lifting you up.
