Carrie & Julie,

HOD has been such a huge blessing to our family. I don't know where our homeschool journey would have taken us without you! Thank you for all your efforts. Even in the face of difficult circumstances, you still take time to offer advice & share your heart with those in need. What an inspiration you both are! :)

I pray the Lord will bless you all exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or hope for and give you peace.

Isaiah 41:10

"Fear not, for I AM with you; Be not dismayed, for I AM your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Dear Carrie and Julie,

Our family will also pray be praying for yours. Thank-you for giving so much of yourselves to serve the Lord in the many ways He has called you to. You have both ministered to me through this forum numerous times; blessings to your Daddy for the strong faith He passed on to his girls. I am praising the Lord that your Dad is His and there is nothing to fear during this trial. Praying James 1 and Psalm 62 for you all.

Dear Carrie and Julie,

Praying for your dad and you and your families at this difficult time.
You both amaze me with all that you accomplish already, and I know how hard and time-consuming it is to have a loved one going through cancer treatment, so please don't feel one bit badly about not being able to be online as much during all of this. You are such a blessing to all of us and our families, and we understand and support you all the way. (((((hugs)))))
Love in Christ,

Thank you so much, ladies! I am teary-eyed and yet so full of encouragement reading your words here. As I head to the hospital today, this is needed inspiration. It will be for Carrie as well. I posted this picture on the weekly check-in a few weeks back. This was right before our dad's surgery, and he insisted on still coming to watch my sons (and my mom watched Carrie's sons) as we attended a book fair. My little Emmet is reading to him here...

He is an incredible man, full of strength and faith! We do covet your prayers and know there is such power in prayer. Thank you so very, very much! Carrie and I both feel surrounded by love and support here. I will print these to show my Dad and Mom, as many of you have met them years back at book fairs and may know them personally. They will be encouraged as well!

Love in Christ,
Julie

I personally know the tremendous gift from God and blessing a wonderful earthly father is! I will be in prayer for this dear man and his family. Please tell him that his faithful service to God has shown in his daughters and is blessing to all of us! In a way, we are part of his heritage. I pray that he is better very soon.
