American History Tie In - Monumental Movie

For those studying American History this year, the new Monumental Movie is out. We saw it last night. My 11 and 9 year olds got bored with it, but my husband and I enjoyed it immensely. It covers the Pilgrims and how and why they came here and the principles our country is founded on. It shows a national monument I had never heard of, the National Monument to the Forefathers.
eta- It complemented the learning from Beyond and Bigger perfectly. While my kids didn't remember the stories about Scrooby Inn, I did. The story told in the movie about the Pilgrims fleeing England matched the history in HOD perfectly.
