Enjoying HOD

Post by Upward Journey » Wed Aug 10, 2011 1:49 pm

OK, so we're only on day 3 so far, but we're having a really good time.

I started LHFHG with ds 7 last week. We're doing it double time because we like it :D and because I'm using it as a filler as I cement his basic skills. We'll start Beyond mid-way through this year. He loves it, can't get enough of that Reddy Fox, and has enjoyed the songs/poems so far. In fact my older kids are also enjoying the songs even though they're 10 & 12 :)

The older kids are doing Preparing and they're eating up Grandpa's Box, the 12 yo loves the whoolly mammoth book, and I love that I finished school with everyone by lunchtime today! Hooray!!!!!

Thanks for a wonderful program.

That's awesome! Sounds like you have a great fit for all your kids. Enjoy this year.

So glad you are enjoying it!
Grandfather's Box was one of our favorites too!
