Charlotte Mason humor from ds

Post by LynnH » Thu Apr 11, 2013 11:02 am

Last night we were watching American Idol as a family. Mariah Carey is one of the judges and she has a tendency to be long winded. Last night she went excessively long with her comments about the contestants. Finally Noah says "Good grief Mariah your not giving an oral narration, will you just get to the point!" Dh and I just burst out laughing. It is especially funny since I am always telling Noah that he doesn't give enough details in his oral narrations. I may just have to tell him that next time he needs to use as many words as Mariah.

I *love* it when the kids get to the summary narration concept. That is so much more suited to my personality than the detailed ones.
