Timeline in Beyond?

Post by GinainMD » Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:17 pm

Hello everyone! My oldest two dds will be starting Beyond after labor day and I am curious about a few things. I have been looking over the guide and was a little confused about the timeline. Can anyone explain to me how this is going to work? Is one paper enough or should we use poster board? I'm one of those people who can't always visualize how something is going to work/turn out until I actually start doing it (and sometimes not even then  ). Also, there is a mountain project that involves tearing different colors of paper and I can't seem to understand what the directions are saying, not sure what week that is from. Thanks for any responses.

I'm interested in this too since we'll be starting the program in a month.

our Beyond timelines were on cardstock, with enough columns and rows as the guide suggested. There were some colums that has less entries than others, but each rectangle left enough room for a small drawing. I will see if I can dig out an old one and scan it.

We used an 8 1/2 x11 piece of printer paper. We kept it in a plastic sleeve for protection. We had enough room for each drawing, but if I were doing it again I would use a larger piece of paper.

We used a 11x18 inch piece of white paper. I was able to have nice sized boxes for the picture and label. We just folded it in half and kept it in his binder. It worked great.

Hi Gina! We enjoyed our Beyond timeline so much that we snapped some pics of it. Here's one of them:
