We finished MTMM today so here is my final update http://www.graceandfur.blogspot.com/201 ... -mtmm.html. We had a good year overall and I love the MTMM guide.

I enjoyed reading your update! We finished up MtM recently, too. My son loved his year. My son also loved the evolution science book. He was looking forward to it all year. :D He is also still finishing up Algebra 1. He's been doubling up on lessons so he should finish soon.

Congrats to both of you on finishing MtMM! That is a big accomplishment for you and your dc. I love hearing about the guide and what they learn and ways they have grown. LynnH it has been neat to see your son's work throughout this year, and it seems like he has been growing and thriving. I feel my kids have done that too this year! I kind of wish we were taking the summer "off" but we will take June off and start back up in July. This will have us on track to finish our guides in one year... amazing! It's been a couple of years since I have done that (though slowing down was what my dc needed to do). I love that Preparing has the 4 day week, that makes it much easier. And I have never taken a whole summer off, but my kids get bored and need the sharpening of some kind of school work to do. 4 weeks off feels like a summer break to us and we will try to soak it up as best we can.
