Ok Girls,

What was YOUR week Like?

You can post:

a- A picture
b- A blog Link
c- A written synopsis
d- Your favorite memory
e- Anything you want that shares your HOD excitement!

Important Note: If you are linking us to your blog, please make sure it's not just a general link, but to your specific post of HOD. That way if someone reads through these a year from now they can find your share without needing to hunt!

A really good week...IF you filter out the almost three-year-old's temper tantrums and fits almost hourly...I'm really trying to mentally block those moments! :)

A blog post about our art projects will come later...there was just TOO much to put in one weekly review because we started our co-op this week as well.

***Update: ART POST***

We had a great week in Unit 21 of LHFHG. We just have to finish the oceanic expeditioners to move on to Unit 22. In other words, we have the LH side of days 4 and 5 to go.

I love the ease of use and focus of this curriculum. :)

Week 2:Creation to Christ
Again my daughter is enjoying and being drawn in by the material. I am a little behind in a couple of the readings, because one day a week we do co-op and I try not to school on Friday- so we have to squish a couple days into one. She seems to enjoy Finding our Roots, and A Child's Geography the most, aside from her co-op day with other friends.
This is her first year, and she hasn't quite mastered working independently, but she has moments of independence each week.

May you all enjoy your weekend! Barbara

Next week we'll start Bigger and hopefully two weeks later (if I can order the programs) we'll start the rest of the kiddos.
