When to start Little Hearts?

OK ladies, I need your input. I've been pondering this over in my mind for about a month now and I need to hear what you all think cause I'm starting to drive myself nuts. :? I guess I should tell you where ds is at right now so you can see where I'm coming from. DS just turned 4 about a month ago. ...

I log on to HSR often too (as mamato2) and after I checked in there this morning and read some of the posts I was thinking "somebody better tell Carrie to print up some extra curriculum!" :D I think it's great!

Not much experience here, but I have to say that I love the way that things are organized now with everything I need for that day on one page. I agree that I like all of the detail that's provided and I like that I don't have to flip around to different pages at all. (That's actually a complaint tha...

Many moms just date the plans and check them off as they complete them. Then, they have their lesson plans all in one place if they are ever asked to prove what they've done. Dating the plans is also an easy way to keep attendance. This is actually what I do just to keep track of where I am. I also...

Hi. I am certainly no expert, but I'm kind of in the same spot as you, so I thought I'd share what we're doing. My ds is also 4, we're doing LHTH right now and I'm researching what I'm going to be using for phonics/math/handwriting next year too. DS has been reading some sight words for quite a whil...

Singapore math for Little Hearts

Hi all. I was just looking ahead to the plans for LHFHG and was noticing that for K the suggestion is Singapore Earlybird 2A/2B. So my question is, do you all just go right into 2A/2B, or did you do the 1A/1B prior to starting LHFHG? I've looked at the Singapore website at the topics for 1A/1B and I...

Just wanted to chime in to say that I've got a 4 yr old who also loves workbooks. He thoroughly enjoys LHTH. Loves the fingerplays, crafts and the worksheets that go along with LHTH. What I've done to satisfy his workbook "craving" is to start Explode the Code books with him. Since he already knows ...

We are just finishing up Lesson 2 and my little guys love it. It's amazing to see how much my 22 month old picks up from it. And my 4 year old loves the fingerplays. He even made up a few verses of his own for a bee and a butterfly in Noah's boat. Love this program!

Just saying "hello"

Hello there! I registered a few days ago and just now found a minute to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Sharon. I've been married to my dh for 6 years and we have just started using LHTH with my 4 yr old and almost 2 yr old sons. We are loving it. I've enjoyed reading through all of the pos...
